The Royal Britannia Official Jewellery Collection
One of the special things sold on the Royal Brittania yacht is a line of jewellery that is approved for sale by Buckingham palace. This collection is made out of faux pearls and crystals and all pieces are hand-cast, hand polished and hand finished.
One of the offered pieces for 350 pounds is a sapphire and diamond brooch that was given to her as a wedding gift from Queen Elizabeth and the Queen Mother. She had the brooch affixed to a pearl choker to make it more contemporary. The imitation version is silver plated and set with Austrian crystal stones including an enormous navy blue stone that is modelled after the original sapphire.
Another fam9ous ring is the Duchess of Windsor Pearl and Diamond ring. The original was given by the Duke of Windsor to the Duchess of Windsor to mark twenty years of marriage. It is one of the most important jewellery collections of the twentieth century.
Royal admirers can also buy a copy of necklace that Queen Elizabeth wears around her neck every day. This is the Queen Victoria Collet necklace which was worn daily by Queen Elizabeth I, Queen Alexandra, Queen Mary and Queen Victoria. The necklace is a series of round diamonds on a chain with a pear shaped claw set diamond hanging as a pendant. Matching earrings complete the Queen Victoria Collet set.
There is also a beautiful reproduction of the Durbar Emerald necklace that was created by Queen Mary from four different sources. The necklace is made of square diamond crystals with a square emerald claw setting fixed to two more dangling pendants that consist of one tear drop shaped emerald crystal and one oblong diamond crystal. There is a set of Durbar drop earrings to match this.
You can also get the Tiara Ring which is inspired from a tiara that was a gift from Lady Diana Spencer to Cynthia, Viscountess Althorp as a wedding present in 1919. It was also worn as the “something borrowed” part of her wedding outfit when she married Prince Charles in 1981. The ring in the royal collection is sterling silver and studded with Austrian crystals.
This is high quality jewellery and it is not cheap with prices running to be $300 and over for quality reproduction. You can get cheaper reproductions but of course, these will not have the official stamp of approval from Queen Elizabeth II.
